An increase in demand for self storage is driving this growth. What, then, is causing this increase in demand? Population growth is one of the major factors increasing demand for self storage. In the state of Victoria, in 2023 alone, the population increased by 2.4%.

In addition to this, high levels of interstate migration are also contributing to increased demand for self storage.
